Well look at Jonathan whittling his horse with his fancy new block of wood and pocket knife curtsey of the lovely @mspoodle1
The only thing I'm struggling with right now is the ITUN file. No matter how miserable I make him he will not whittle autonomously.
I love this! 🐎
I really love the sims 4 pet conversions for cats and dogs but I was wondering if you could do an edit of the hat and bring the top part down a bit so that it looks like a pork pie hat?
Hi! Glad you like the conversions, but I’m not making or editing CC right now. Sorry! :(
Do you know if there is a version of the basketball hoop from the store without the floor markings? I know there are versions without the post and without the backboard, but I'm looking for one with the post and backboard minus the floor markings. I've searched and searched with no luck.
Hello there! 👋
I don’t recall. I did do a quick search and only found
@aroundthesims’s version of the ceiling basketball hoop. https://aroundthesims3.com/objects/function_entertainment_sport_03.shtml and this https://logansimmingwolverine.tumblr.com/post/56961686184/get-your-hoops-high-two-basketball-hoops-based-on
Both not exactly what you want. Gonna answer this publicly to see if anyone knows if this has been done. OR…if someone wants to edit the store object.

Just realized I never shared the no walls horse stall thing I did. I think some other peeps have done some similar things with the fences and made it more modular. But this is just the inside stuff. Just keep in mind, you still NEED the space for the imaginary door for the horse to use. Otherwise you have a trapped horse.
2 versions - EA and Bloom. Have fun!

Shout out to the amazing @mspoodle1 .. still absolutely loving these wall-less horse stalls you did!! <3

Hey there! 🙌 Welcome to Tumblr!
Going to post this in hopes that the Medieval Sim players and storytellers can direct us to some CC if it’s been converted.
I think the swords have been converted as accessories for TS2 and TS4. But I don’t remember if they have been for TS3 or not.
The only ones off hand that would be close might be @murfeelee and Severinka.
Check Murfs page -> https://murfeelee.tumblr.com/search/tsm
And Severinks -> http://sims3s.ru/accessory.php
Good luck!

Went through and added a Mega download link to all the old post that had broken links for OneDrive and 4shared. Didn’t touch the post that have a SimFileShare link (they should still work). Added it to the CC blog and the Wix site. Hopefully I got everything (but you know I’m sure I missed something). 🤔
Just let me know and I’ll try and fix it. I’ll still leave the above link pinned just in case you need to search the whole backup. Woot!

Catcha later! 😎😎😎
Hello! the download links for your deco is cool post don't seem to work. Thanks for your work :-)
Hey there! 🤗
Fixed the post and thank you for letting me know.

I’ve never done follower gifts because I’ve never really made much stuff other than lots.
I have however been doing some other things, so to show my appreciation to all of you who follow, leave comments or send me messages, I’ve uploaded some things :)
Looks amazing! 🎉💗🤗
Dear Laura Miele,
I read your recent interview with VentureBeat where you discussed the future of The Sims. As a long-time player of the series, I have concerns.
Firstly, there is no reason to ignore the elephant in the room. The Sims 4 was originally built to be multi-player, but with the flop of SimCity 2013 (a multi-player simulation game) TS4 got a quick makeover. While I could go on about the flaws of TS4 from its core to the stacks of micro-transaction packs built on a broken foundation, I will put aside those particular criticisms for a larger discussion.
The Sims is a life simulation game. While you state that “Play with Life” is The Sims’s brand, I remember when it was about creating. Create worlds. Create families. Create chaos. Create stories. Create life.
The Sims 4 has taken the franchise down a much different path. While we can still create our sims, we cannot create the worlds they live in or even place lots. We must purchase new packs for more locations. We find linear action/adventure storylines implemented into packs like Strangerville or Star Wars: Journey to Batuu. While I am a fan of sims lore, I find these particular packs irksome as they shift The Sims from life simulation to RPG.
It became a theme with almost every TS4 pack, especially those like Island Living and Eco Lifestyle–though less RPG–but more goal oriented to “saving the world” or in Snowy Escape “climb the mountain.” A pattern like this is something I do not want repeated in the next generation of The Sims.
While I have seen many SimGurus argue that The Sims have a variety of players (which is true) and they want to appease players who want point-and-click adventures, it takes away resources and opportunities to expand the sandbox, which is the foundation of every life simulation game.
There are endless action/adventure RPG games, many made by EA. There are few life simulation games and only one highly successful, The Sims.
While I know your interview addressed the future of The Sims and not TS4, I wanted to begin the conversation with those points as I now move to the future of the franchise.
The Sims has always been rated T for Teen, but lately a great many players have noticed the focus drifting ever closer to E for Everyone, which means including children as a base customer. I understand EA sees an opportunity for sales, but making a life simulation game appropriate for children will limit TS5 in game play and intricacy as every aspect of the game will have to be easy enough for a five-year-old to understand.
As an adult, this would be a major turn-off and opens to a more pressing problem I have seen questioned across the community here on Tumblr, forums, and Twitter. The idea of making the next game compatible across all platforms, including mobile. While I agree Xbox and PlayStation’s consoles are completely able to run a game such as The Sims, I would not want the game dumbed down for mobile. It would mean a simple, depthless game–an issue that already disappoints customers of TS4.
Again, I understand EA wants to reach as many consumers as possible. You are a company that wants to make a profit and sees an opportunity to make more sales. Making the game for children and mobile, may reach new customers, but it will ultimately lose a vast majority of players who desire a sequel that brings back that excitement like when we watched the trailer for Sims 2.
And you think the way to do that is to re-introduce multi-player, like The Sims Online? You stated you believe the “social connection” is what is missing in the franchise. I can tell you that is untrue. Simmers are probably the most vocal gamers I know. We have already made the “social connection” through the mediums we have chosen.
While I know there are already people reading this–you may be included–that think, “just make online optional,” I must insist on the single player experience.
If you create Sims 5 to be like Roblox or Second Life, it will extremely limit the core of the game. It will transition the game from life simulation to MMORPG. While I cannot say “no one wants that,” I can confirm as a long-time player and one that knows thousands of other players, we do not want that.
We do not want The Sims turned into IMVU and Second Life, which are glorified chat-rooms with an avatar and a marketplace to buy virtual, pixelated CAS items. It is already an issue–of paid content–faced daily in our community. I suggest EA not fan those flames.
We do not want the game to be centered around socializing as it is in TS4. We want depth. Memories. Chaos. Consequences. And maybe an alien abduction every now and then?
I want to reaffirm that The Sims is a life simulation game. A sandbox game where you play God and build worlds, houses, and manipulate lives of simulated people. I do not see why you would feel the need to compete with Roblox or Second Life or Fortnite. None of those games give the player the same experience as The Sims.
Stop limiting the sandbox. Embrace it. Expand it for a better generation.
Sincerely,
MDP
where do i sign?
⊹・maybe “bug” isn’t accurate, but as of now, that is what it appears to be.
⊹・basically a lot of users are being logged out, both on mobile on desktop, and are being requested to change their password, yet are unable to.
⊹・imo that logging out issue seems to be stemming from the issue with some custom codes; when you go on desktop to your customisation page and have had the issue from the previous point, you’ll receive an error message saying, “your custom theme has been reset because we detected some suspicious code.”
⊹・this is really weird as there’s no consistent pattern (e.g. let’s say there are two blogs with the same theme; this does not necessarily mean that both will face this issue), and even themes part of the theme garden (meaning that they have been checked and approved by staff) are receiving this error.
⊹・as of now, it seems that this is only affecting main blogs, not sideblogs.
⊹・it is possible that your theme can be recovered using the theme recovery; please note that this has not been effective for everyone.
⊹・i’d advise everyone to go to their customisation page, and copy & paste their codes (for both blog themes and pages) to google docs, their notes app, pastebin, etc.
i was able to make a new pw and login just fine but i am still going to pass this around!
FYI!

I just remembered that @grandelama was making Simsville a reality. I missed it’s release but It’s soooo surreal experiencing your version. Thank you for making and sharing it!
p.s. The missing tile path to the street is cracking me up. 😂 It’s the little things.
A pose for a photoshoot depicting the Flamingo-scene from Alice in Wonderland. There’s a child- and an adult version.
The Flamingo is by @mspoodle1 and can be downloaded here. For the child-pose it’s 35 cm up on an OMSP, for the adult 73 cm.
Sharing some things I’ve made and converted in the last several months. It’s all usable but may have a few slight kinks about them. I’m not going to redo any of it soon so if you want to fix it be my guest. Just DON’T claim you made it.
****WARNING****
This stuff is not perfect and if you ask me about it, I will just laugh at you! :P

@danjaley I fixed the links. 😉🤞
sorry for the bother, mspoodle. i'm wondering if you know where to get repulsive desire's deco birdcages, like in baufive's final screenie of his ephemera series (2011) wall art? internet archives have the page that baufive kindly linked to but it's empty. many thx. cheers!
Hi there! 👋 You’re no bother at all!
RD’s stuff used to be at the CC graveyard depository, but I think that’s gone now (someone correct me if I’m wrong. May be at the internet archive. Which is a mess to be honest.) So…..you can find the CC dump in my backup SFS folder
Direct link for the folder - http://www.simfileshare.net/download/499637/
I would search for bird or cage and several things will pop up that are probably what you are looking for.
Disclaimer - This CC is not mine just made it available for prosperity sake.
